Edin is a published writer, poet, copywriter and artist based in London. His work has been exhibited at the Tate Modern, and he performs his work in a variety of places, from international literary festivals to venues such as the Southbank Centre in London.
Edin Suljic grew up in the multicultural, multinational society of former Yugoslavia, moving to the UK at the onset of the tragic Yugoslavian war in 1991. There he studied engineering and theatre, then worked on building trains and in several experimental theatre groups.
Being from a diverse background, in his writings, Edin highlights the need for facilitating different parts of our society understand each other and to find common values.
He likes a good story and believes that telling and making stories about people in all their diversities is the best way of bringing people closer together.
